Speaker: Ann Reynolds
Working for Cornwall Council's Historic Environment Service, Ann has been the advisor on conservation and the countryside for over two decades. As one of the team of professional archaeologists she will explain how the historic aspects of the countryside are understood and evaluated, and what conservation of our rural heritage means for today's farmers and landowners.She has been instrumental in ensuring that grants for farming and landscape management take full account of the need to conserve this finite and irreplaceable resource. Who are we?

The Perranarworthal Local History Group (PLHG) was formed by a group of local people who shared a common interest in finding out more about the history and origins of the place they lived in and the surrounding area. The PLHG committee was established in May 2017 and began to organise meetings, and arrange walks and talks on subjects of interest. There is now a regular programme of events for people to enjoy and we encourage everyone to participate and contribute to furthering our aims.
